The goal of the project is to evaluate and recommend GAMESA the best available option to deal with locational studies of wind farms within the PJM and MISO network power systems. These systems present a nodal price driven market so that the energy selling price may vary significantly from one node to another due to network constraints and ohmic losses. The asset value will then depend on the geographical location of the wind farm, because of both wind levels and nodal prices. This study focuses on the last aspect.
